Fifty-five days in the hospital. Weeks in a skilled nursing facility. She's still fighting her way back.
Her mother flew from Virginia to be by her side. She used every single day of leave she had. She was there in the darkest moments. Now her mother is back home. She has to work. She has a child at home who needs her. However, she can't afford the flights to come back to Las Vegas for the ongoing appointments, rehabilitation visits, and recovery milestones.
