Scholarship Details & Eligibility

The SrA Jonathon Lopez Memorial Scholarship honors the legacy of a "cybersecurity hero" dedicated to protecting critical infrastructure. We are proud to offer two $500 scholarships to deserving individuals within the military community.

Award Usage: These funds are designed to fuel your professional growth. The award can be used for a variety of educational purposes, including but not limited to:

  • Professional certification exam vouchers (e.g., CompTIA, PMP, CISSP).

  • Essential technical equipment or hardware.

  • Study materials, textbooks, or online course tuition.

Important Dates & Process

  • Application Deadline: Applications are accepted until August 15.

  • Review Process: All submissions will be carefully reviewed by the CyRoot Academy Scholarship Committee. Please note that all committee decisions are final.

  • Notification: Applicants will be notified of the committee’s decision via email within 30 days of the application closing date.
